Ordinary People, Big Minds

Posted by Franklin Castulo on July 21, 2011 at 10:25 PM

Believe it or not, ordinary people have big minds!

Bitaw, kini tinood jud ug dili ikalimod natong tanan.

She has that big vision of GHS having a GYMNASIUM. kahinumdom pa ko adto nga dream ni Maam Jamisola for GHS.

Siguro, ikaw pod ug kada usa nato dunay pangandoy para sa atong Alma Mater.

Ariel Amoncio my batchmate posted in our facebook group lately. "What about magtukod ta ug Library for GHS Classmates, 300 sq. meters lot is enough", he said.

Corazon Asilo Olano also says, "GHS buildings needs repaint, Let us do it as a project of the alumni."

What we become now is the fruit of GHS.

As the school motto says, "A Tree is known by its Fruit". Dili ba lain paminawon?

Dream... and believe in your dreams...

But as we plan the 2012 Grand Alumni REUNION, siguro dili lajo nga matuman ang mga damgo nila maam Jamisola, Ayie ug Corazon.  This Grand reunion is not only a challenge of gathering ourselves once again, but also a challenge to give back to our ALMA MATER. Anyway small things matters most, and as long as kinasing-kasing kini,  it is a good start already.

So what do you think the project will be? A GYMNASIUM? RePainting, or A LIBRARY?

We are the ordinary people, and we have BIG MINDS... :)  GNHS alumni rocks!

" The books that help you most are those which make you think the most. The hardest way of learning is by easy reading: but a great book that comes from a great thinker-- it is a ship of thought, deep freighted with truth and with beauty. "

" The world of books is the most remarkable creation of man. Nothing else that he builds ever lasts. Monuments fall, nations perish, civilizations grow old and die out, and after an era new races build others. But in the world of books are volumes that have seen this happen again and again and yet live on, still young, still as fresh as the day they were written, still telling men's hearts of the heart of men centuries dead. " If minds are truly alive they will seek out books, for books are the human race recounting its memorable experiences, confronting its problems, searching for solutions, drawing the blueprints of it futures. "

" What is a great love of books? It is something like a personal introduction to the great and good men of all past times. Books, it is true, are silent as you see them on their shelves; but, silent as they are, when I enter a library I feel as if almost the dead were present, and I know if I put questions to these books they will answer me with all the faithfulness and fulness which has been left in them by the great men who have left the books with us. matud pa ni Jerome Allen Seinfeld or known as JERRY SEINFELD..a american stand-up comedian, actor and a film producer....''A bookstore is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking.''....usa pa para nako mas effective ang traditional way of studying ky kaning ga post then author sa ORDINARY PEOPLE,BIG MIND gikan man ani na pamaagi sa pagtoon,,,,unya nakita nato ug unsa ang result...not only that....just take a look our great great great if we want to build a strong foundation for the strong and brighter future for the next generation of student in our Alma Mater,we will provide them the resources they this is the best way of helping i go on the LIBRARY...we can acquire the body fitness, the enjoyment or other activities in the gymnasium outside the school campus...usa pa dako ang funding ge kinahanglan ani na project, wait lang ta sa right time para ani....unya sa repainting sad...ka daghan sa mga asinsado na na mga tawo na gikan sa ato alma mater pwedi raman ni nila angkonon we will not build a bokestore but a storage of books and a books......

for me i'll go for a LIBRARY, mas pinaka importante ang library compare to a GYMNASIUM or RePainting. Kay dinhi nato mapalapdan ug maajo ang mga pang huna-huna sa isa ka studyante, pinaagi ani nga proyekto maduganagn usab ang kalantip sa ilang salabutan...BOOKS are the records of those author's who have a great mind and ideas to be shared to other.
